Science Labs

The planned lab renovations will transform the space into a state-of-the-art facility where undergraduate students can engage in authentic research. Designed as a hub for collaboration, the new labs will foster strong relationships between students and faculty mentors. With a flexible room design, the space will accommodate both individual and group work, creating a dynamic environment that supports hands-on learning and innovative research.
We take on an ambitions project that reimagines the way we will teach. This bold vision includes new introductory Biology and Chemistry labs and a Physics Lab. These renovations will be made in the Ford Life Sciences Building and the Chemistry Building. But what makes this project so important, is that it will have an impact on nearly every student across every program who must take classes in science, technology, engineering or math.
These renovations will allow us to improve the recruitment and retention of current and future students, attract more grant and research opportunities and attract strong faculty members to our teacher/scholar model. Most importantly, it will enhance the experience of Engineering & Science students and curriculum they follow.
